The late dancehall act Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng popularly known as Ebony Reigns death has brought tears to Ghanaians and she has left a big vacuum in the music industry which will be difficult to fill.

Ebony before her demise was signed to Rufftown Records which is managed by Bullet of Ruff n Smooth and also Midas touch.

The management team did a great job on the artiste by releasing tons of hit songs which the Ghanaian populace tipped her to win VGMA artiste of the year 2018 but one thing we didn’t know was that Ebony wasn’t happy with her record label and wanted to leave to join Zylofon Music till the C.E.O of Zylofon Media Nana Appiah Mensah posted on IG.

According to Nana Appiah they met on tuesday and reached an agreement and Ebony said to him “Please help me pay him for my bail out, i want to be free”, meaning Ebony wanted Nana Appiah to pay her manager Bullet off so that she could leave Rufftown Records to join Zylofon and this has sparked a lot of controversies as some are wondering so all this while Ebony wasn’t happy with her label and some are also associating her death to she wanting to leave her record label…Hmm your guess is as good as mine.

Ebony wanted to join zylofon music

Expression of my deepest condolences to the friends, family & Ghana. My deepest sympathies for the loss of a friend, pretty daughter and a proud citizen. Even in the dark, you’re undisputably still one of Ghana and Africa’s best of all times. We at zylofon media, our hearts continues to ache terribly, as the anticipation for a colorful joyous welcome would now be grounded on void. In as much as, I sincerely wish @zylofontv & @zylofon1021fm is playing dancehall now, instead of a sorrowful dirge😢, we take consolation in the fact that, your rather short days on earth is one that has been well lived and accomplished. Until we meet again someday, “fare thee well, my sister”, we would hold strongly to your memories, “FOREVER THEY’LL REMAIN”. #RIP-Ebony Reign # ReignforEver #peacebestill❤️ #Findeternalpeace&freedom💕💕💕
